SAB E MERAJ DATE 2018

Shab-e-Meraj is the best night for Muslims to worship. It is the night when ALLAH took our last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on a journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and then to heaven. This is the night when our last and beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) Saw all the even skies and Allah took him to see the heaven to tell the Muslims about it. Shab E Meraj comes on the 27th day of the month of Rajab According to Islamic Calendar. The date of Shab E Meraj is always same day according to Islamic calendar but in Gregorian calendar day’s varies. The date of Shab E Meraj also depend on the moon has been sighted or not, that’s why Shab E Meraj date varies country to country. The translation of Sab E Meraj is the night of Ascent. The history of Sab E Meraj says This is the Holy night when Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) ascended to the Heaven from the Masjid Al Haram in Holy City of Macca. In Quran :

“Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” [Surah Al Israt (17:1)]

HISTORY OF SAB E MERAJ :

Sab E Meraj is a holy night for all of Muslims all over the world. Cause in Sab E Meraj night a miracle has happened our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SW) was ascended to the Heaven from Earth. That journey was spiritual and physical also. This holy night also is known as Isra and Meraj to all Muslims cause there were two parts of the journey. Isra means “walking in the night” which refers the first part of that journey where Prophet Muhammad (SW) journey from the holy city of Macca To Jerusalem. And the second part was Miraj where Prophet Muhammad (SW) was the ascension to Heaven.
